Lauren Vasey was a Research Associate and a Doctoral Candidate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart from 2014 - 2021. In 2020, she joined the NCCR for Digital Fabrication at the ETH Zürich as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She completed her doctoral degree in 2021.

Her research and courses taught at ICD focused on behavioral and adaptive robotic fabrication: considering in particular how sensor feedback, iterative computation, and robotic behaviors enable new types of production.

Lauren received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tufts University, cum laude, and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Michigan, with distinction.
