Samuel Slezák is a research associate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart. He recently completed the Master of Science in Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) program at the University of Stuttgart.

His Master's Thesis, "Dis-Co: Artificial Reasoning in Human-Robot Collaborative Disassembly Processes," investigated human-robot collaboration and was awarded first place at the 'Auf IT Gebaut' project Award in 2024. Prior to ITECH, he received an MSc in Architecture from TU Delft, where his thesis explored "Enter 'Space' to test the AI" under Georg Vrachliotis and Victor Muñoz Sanz, and a BSc with Honors in Architecture and Structural Design from TU Eindhoven.

Samuel's practical experience includes research assistant roles in computational design and robotics (ETH Zürich), hands-on work developing robotic earthen construction (Terrestrial), and applying computational skills like parametric modeling and programming as a Draftsman and Designer at Alfred Rein Ingenieure. His research interests lie at the intersection of human-robot collaboration and interaction, artificial intelligence, machine learning applications in architecture, computational design, and robotic fabrication.
