VIZOR
Human Robot Collaboration through Augmented Reality
The ‘Vizor’ framework serves to facilitate instructive human robot collaboration through Augmented Reality (AR), specifically within the environment of high Level of Automation (LoA) prefabrication for the AEC industry. It includes a Grasshopper plugin for prototyping collaborative workflows, and an integrated HoloLens application for operation.
The package includes three example files to illustrate human-system, robot-system and human-robot interaction which adapt to different use cases in the process of timber prefabrication. The tool opens new opportunities to extend the skill set of robotic setups with craftspeople who are skilled yet untrained in robotic control, and provides greater accessibility and adaptability of these collaborative setups for the designer community.
