ICD Research Associate and ITECH graduate Dylan Marx Wood is invited as a guest speaker and critic by the directors of the Emergent Technologies and Design, Graduate Program at the Architectural Association in London.
The talk titled “Integrating Material Capacity - Exploiting Natural Shape Change for Self-Construction” will present current work by the Institute for Computational Design on the use of timber as an reactive building material, as well as the ongoing development of materially informed: design, simulation, and production methods for shape changing materials.
