Former ITECH student Hussamaldeen Gomaa will present the paper “Influence of Geometry on Growth and Strength of 3D-Printed Mycelium Composites: A Data-Driven Study” at the Design Modelling Symposium 2024 on September 17th, 2024.
The research was developed as a M.Sc thesis at the Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) Master´s program at the University of Stuttgart, by students Hussamaldeen Gomaa, Wai Man Chau, and Yara Karazi; and supervised by professors Thomas Wortmann (ICD/CA) and Martin Ostermann (IBK2), and tutors Zuardin Akbar (ICD/CA) and Eliza Biala (IBK2).
