Feminist Techno-Science Perspectives for Human-Robot Collaboration
ICD researcher Gili Ron will present her recent research on Human-Robot Collaboration at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. The talk will be held online, on May 30th, 2023.
Ron’s talk will focus on robotic fabrication and assembly and the potentials of combining feminist techno-science critic and machine learning to foster equal technology access and meaningful contribution of human agents. The talk is a part of Prof. Romi Mikulinski’s course “Digital culture - present, future and utopian-dystopian narratives in design, at the Program for Industrial Design (MDes), Bezalel.
Gili Ron is a research associate and a doctoral candidate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD), the Chair for Computing in Architecture, University of Stuttgart. Her research in human-robot collaboration is the winner of IntCDC Blue Sky Grant, 2022.
