Application of Semantic Web in Architecture: BIM with Knowledge Graphs
ICD researcher Diellza Elshani will be delivering a lecture on the practical implementation of Semantic Web technologies in Architecture. The event is scheduled to take place on May 31st in Prishtina, Kosovo.
Professor Lule Ahmedi, a prominent figure in the field of Computer Science at FIEK Faculty of Electric and Computeric Engineering at the University of Prishtina, "Hasan Prishtina", has invited Diellza Elshani to share her research conducted at ICD and IntCDC with the master's degree students enrolled in the Semantic Web course.
Elshani's talk will primarily focus on the importance of data interoperability within the building industry. She will then highlight the advantages of utilizing Semantic Web technologies for effective data representation and exchange in this field. Additionally, she will share her research paper results on Building Information Modelling (BIM) with Knowledge Graphs and present real-world use cases demonstrating the application of these technologies for designing buildings.
