ICD Research Associates Laura Kiesewetter and Hana Svatoš-Ražnjević will present their ongoing research as part of the 27th Project Days of Building Research event at the BBSR in Bonn.
Laura Kiesewetter will present research on self-forming cylindrical wood components for sustainable lightweight structures and how they can be used for sustainable high performance architectural applications. The project is investigated together with the chair of Forest Utilization at the Technical University of Dresden and the industry partner Blumer Lehmann.
Research Associate Hana Svatoš-Ražnjević and Maria Wyller from David Chipperfield Architects Berlin will be giving a presentation on reuse of mixed mineral construction and demolition waste and related tool, technologies and design potentials as part of their project Robots//Reuse.
On 11 and 12 June 2023, ongoing Zukunft Bau research projects in the following thematic fields will be presented and discussed:
