Robotically Fabricated Lightweight Timber Shell
Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, 2014

After only three weeks the construction of the main building elements has just been finished. Additional layers of insulation, waterproofing and cladding were installed after the structural beech plywood plates were assembled. Only through the digital fabrication of all building elements it was possible to finish construction within such a short time and with a high level of precision.

The Landesgartenschau Exhibition Hall will be opened soon. Stay tuned for further information on the opening event.
