Katharina Lindenberg has studied architecture at the h_da University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt where she received her diploma-engineering degree in 2006 and at the AA School of Architecture Design Research Lab where she graduated with distinction in 2011 with an MArch in Architecture and Urbanism.

As an architect she has been working in practices in Switzerland including Herzog & de Meuron, von Ballmoos Krucker, Hauenstein La Roche Schedler Architects where she was involved in the development of architectural concepts as well as the realization and construction management of projects. In parallel she participated in several theatre productions where she developed scenographic concepts and assisted in directing, costume design and production management.

Her focus at the ICD is the integration of computational concepts in the basic education at the University of Stuttgart. She is teaching descriptive as well as computational geometry within the undergraduate education programme.
