ICD Research Associate Lauren Vasey was elected to the Board of Directors of Acadia, the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture. Acadia is an international network of digital design researchers and professionals which facilitates critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning, and building science, encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education.
ACADIA is an all-volunteer organization governed by elected officers, an elected Board of Directors, and appointed ex-officio officers. Two rotating groups of 5 representatives, elected from the membership, serve overlapping two-year terms.
